I was very pleased with my purchase of radiant barrier aluminum foil. The rolls were shipped faster than expected and the cost was not astronomical as compared with other vendors.

I purchased the radiant barrier over a year ago and can't be more pleased. The difference was amazing. First it really delayed how far into the season until I had to turn my air condition on. Secondly my air condition didn't have to run as long. In 2009 the highest electric bill I had was $93...before the barrier the bills were around $160-$170 in the summer.

I live in Tulsa OK and installed attic foil on all the attic facing second floor knee walls along with adding additional fiberglass insulation to the first floor attic areas then covered that with attic foil. We have not installed over the second floor attic areas yet but have realized a 20% reduction in energy comsumpion between the summer of 2008 without extra insulation and the attic foil to the summer of 2009 with it. We just purchased another 1000' roll to complete the attic areas before we get to far into the summer of 2010. The product is very easy to install and work with. I would recommend to anyone wanting to save on energy cost summer and winter

I installed atticfoil inthe walk-in attic over my garage and noticed immeditely that the temperature in the garage was lower. It used to feel like a furnace when entering the garage, now it just feels a little warm. The main part of the attic also is cooler. The product is as tough as described - you almost cannot tear it with your hands. The perforations make it easy to cut straight lines. Highly recommended!
