Because so few areas are requiring this particular product for code standards, we have decided to stop manufacturing this product (the HDF Metalized Film) until further notice.

AtticFoil® HDF is very similar to our Original AtticFoil® except the outer surfaces are a layer of metalized film which is basically a Mylar type product. The actual aluminum layer is about 1/200ths of the thickness of the pure aluminum product. Unlike the pure aluminum AtticFoil® which has an organic coating, the metalized film has a synthetic clear coating over the aluminum; this coating is required to prevent oxidation of the film product.

Orders placed Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) by 4pm CST will ship the same day.

• Roll sizes: 48" wide by 125 feet long (500 sq ft) OR by 250 feet long (1,000 sq ft)
• Roll weight: 28.6 lbs per 1,000 sq ft, double-sided
• Perforated, this is NOT a vapor barrier
• Orders over 1,000 sq ft come as multiple rolls. Example: if you order 3,000 sq ft you will receive 3 x 1,000 sq ft rolls.
