How much is shipping?

For any order with a subtotal of at least $79 within the contiguous United States, shipping is free! Orders with a subtotal of less than $79 will have a flat-rate shipping fee of $9.95 and may be shipped via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx.

Orders larger than 20,000 sq ft ship via freight carrier – call us for a quote!
Customers in Alaska and Hawaii, we can spot quote you for shipping via USPS Priority Mail & FedEx International Economy.

How is my Radiant Barrier order shipped?

All orders under 20,000 square feet are shipped via FedEx Ground/ FedEx Smart Post. FedEx service (for commercial addresses & residential deliveries) offers an average transit time shown on the map to the right.  FedEx Ground and FedEx Smart Post deliveries are not time-guaranteed, but they are usually on time. Exceptions can include weather delays, traffic delays, holiday peak days, and delays resulting from mechanical failures. If you have a time-sensitive order, we recommend you order a few days before so that in the event of an unexpected delay you still have your material on time.

For orders over 20,000 square feet you should contact us at 800-595-8772 to discuss the best shipping options. We can provide full crates, truckloads via freight carrier, and limited local DFW courier services upon request.

How fast can I get an order? Do you offer express shipping?

We are sorry, but at this time we do not offer FedEx 2nd Day or FedEx Overnight services. If you’d like to use an express service you can contact us for details on our location and hours of operation to arrange your own pick up or express shipping service.

When will my order ship?

Orders that are placed before 3PM Central Standard Time (CST) will ship the same day Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. Orders placed after 3PM will ship the next business day.

Do you offer local pick up?

For full crate orders (52,000 sq ft or more), same day pick up/delivery may be available. Smaller orders will ship via FedEx or local courier for our DFW customers. Considering gas and the time involved, you should consider letting FedEx ship your order even if you live within the DFW area. The typical delivery time for orders within the DFW area is 1 day (orders will be delivered the next day).


How many days will it take to get my order?

With FedEx Ground and FedEx Smart Post service, it can take from 1-4 business days depending on where you are located; see the FedEx shipping map above for your area.

Example: If you place your order on a Monday, before 3pm CST, the map will show 2 days transit time. This means it ships out Monday, travels (in transit) 2 days and is expected to arrive on Wednesday before the end of the day – with Ground you cannot specify the exact time they will deliver it. Transit times do not include the day it is shipped. Ground is not a guaranteed service (though they are on time more than 97% of the time) so please plan accordingly by ordering early to allow extra time for delivery in case of delays.

If you are shipping to a residential address, the delivery days are Tuesday – Saturday. For example, if you are in Ft Worth (1 day delivery time) and you place an order on Friday before 3pm, your order will deliver the next day on Saturday. However if you are in Memphis (2 day delivery time) and you also place an order on Friday before 3pm, your order will be delivered on Tuesday.

For residential deliveries the off days are Sunday and Monday, for business deliveries the off days are Saturday and Sunday.

Ground shipments are not guaranteed to arrive within the estimated time. If you have a time sensitive order, place your order a day or two early to give yourself a buffer in case delivery is held up for any reason. Delivery times are notoriously affected by any holiday season and during winter months, so plan ahead in order to avoid any expedited fees.


Canadian Customers

Orders to Canada are shipped via FedEx International Economy and at this time can only be processed by phone. Please call us at 800-595-8772 to get a quote or place an order; Canada deliveries will take up to 7 business days. Typically shipping costs on orders via International Economy cost about the same price as the product itself – this is because the cost is a total landed cost, and includes all duties, fees, and taxes.

Another, more popular, option that a lot of our Canadian customers prefer is to use a mail forwarder in the USA. We will ship the foil there for a much lower cost (since its inside the US borders) and then you can arrange shipment from the forwarder to your province/area or arrange to cross the border and pick it up.

How will I know my order has shipped?

If you placed an order by 3pm CST and you received your email confirmation/receipt timestamped before 3pm, then your order will ship the same day. To verify this you will receive an email in the late afternoon the day your order was shipped, the email will include your FedEx tracking number so you can track the order.

If you place your order after 3pm CST, you will receive your FedEx tracking number the following business day when your order ships.


Can I track my order?

Yes, once FedEx has picked up your order from us and you have been sent the email with the tracking number, you can track your order at FedEx.com.
